Bring Your Group to the Farm!

From picking seasonal crops to learning about the life cycle of a pumpkin, Butler’s Orchard offers hands-on educational experiences for schools, daycares, summer camps, and assisted care facilities. If you have a group of 20 or more, we have a field trip for you!

Feel free to bring lunches for your group! We have plenty of picnic tables available in the Farm Park for your post-activity lunch or snack.

Summer Pick-Your-Own

May 20 – August 21
(Wed, Thu, Fri)

$10.00 / person
(20 person minimum)

Time Slots: Every 30 mins
(9:30 AM – 1:00 PM)

What’s Included:
Private tractor-driven trolley ride & farm tour. Pick the “Crop of the Season” (Strawberries, Blueberries, Blackberries, or Raspberries). Full access to the 5-acre Farm Park & Picnic areas.

Fall Pumpkin Patch

September 23 – November 6
(Wed, Thu, Fri)

$8.00 / person
(20 person minimum)

Time Slots: Arrival windows at 9 AM, 10 AM, and 11 AM.

What’s Included:
Educational “Pumpkin Post” coloring & activity page. Hayride to the patch to pick your own small pumpkin. Full access to the Farm Park, Slides, Mazes, and Animals

Doc Waters Apple Picking

September 3 – October 24
(Wed, Thu, Fri)

$10.00 / person
(20 person minimum)

Time Slots: 10 AM, 11 AM, or 12 PM.

What’s Included:
1/4 peck bag for each student to fill with fresh apples. Educational lesson on the orchard and growing process. Special Bonus: Early Sept trips include admission to Butler’s Farm Park (2 miles away).

No payment is required to book. You will pay for your final headcount on the day of the event via cash, school check, or credit card. Note: We do not accept purchase orders. Plan to arrive 15 minutes early. Follow signs directly to the Farm Park—no need to stop at the Farm Market. Late arrivals may have delayed access to activities!

Yes, chaperones pay the same group rate as students.

You are welcome to visit, but must pay the $160-$200 minimum to book a private field trip.

If there is doubt about the weather, call us! In most cases, we can provide a covered space for you. If the farm must close due to severe weather, we will happily reschedule your party or provide a full refund.

Our hayride to the pumpkin patch is NOT wheelchair accessible. We want to make sure that every visitor receives their pumpkin so please inform our staff if you need additional pumpkins!
